From the first transistor-based UPS to smart energy solutions for the future

1970

Luigi Modenesi designs one of the first transistor-based UPS systems in Italy, revolutionizing a sector still dominated by valve technology.

1993

Powertronix becomes SpA. New project “PTX3” series starts.

1995

Design of three to one phase “PTX131” begins.

1996

Powertronix awarded for Technological Innovation by Milan Chamber of Commerce.

1998

Design begins of the new three phase model “Quasar”, from 5 to 40 kVA.

1999

Production of the “PTX 131 Planet” series begin, as well as “Quasar” series.

2001

Production of the new Discovery series begins.

2005

Production begins of the new UPS Supernova. The first UPS to be fitted with Climasystem.

2006

Production begins of the UPS family Mizar and Alcor.

2007

Production begins of the new UPS Vela 50-60 kVA. The smallest for this power range.

2009

Production begins of the Auriga, new UPS from 60 to 100 kVA with IGBT rectifier.

2011

Production begins of the Auriga HP, new UPS from 120 to 200 kVA with IGBT rectifier and patended Climasystem.

2012

Production begins of the solar inverter Atum 10 and Atum 20.

2013

Ariga Modular UPS series sees its production.

2013

Production of Auriga HPF and Auriga IN begins. First UPS family to reach 600KVA.

2016

Powertronix launches into the market the new modular UPS family AURIGA MV.

2019

Powertronix expands the range of its products by launching into the market the UPS family VECTOR, available in two versions: VECTOR HP and VECTOR RI.

2020

Powertronix begins the procedures to obtain the ISO14001 certification to testify the quality of its environmental management within its company, thus contributing to the environmental pillar of sustainability.

Laddove molti sistemi si affidano solo all’aria, noi abbiamo scelto la liquid-cooling per potenza, efficienza e compattezza.

Un vantaggio decisivo per chi non può permettersi compromessi.

Nel modello di punta della serie Supernova è presente un circuito di raffreddamento a fluido in circuito chiuso (patentato) che solleva i componenti elettronici dallo stress termico e migliora l’efficienza del sistema.

Il risultato? Design più compatto, rumorosità inferiore, costi di condizionamento della sala ridotti.

Non è “solo” raffreddamento: è protezione e performance insieme.
